How to view submissions

Open your form, and click Results on the top menu. Sort responses or hide columns by hovering over a column header, followed by clicking the dropdown arrow . Screenshot 2026 01 07 At 5 13 48 PM

Filter submissions

Filter to narrow responses based on a specific preference. Click All time to filter by date. Choose Today, Last 7 days, Last 4 weeks, or Last 12 months, or set a Custom range with a start and end date. You can also pick This month, which covers the 1st of the month to today, or Last month, which covers the whole previous month. Dates follow your browser’s timezone.
A saved view keeps fixed dates. If you save a view with This month, it will show as Custom once the month changes.

Submission limits

Submission counts are measured per calendar month, not per billing cycle. The count resets on the 1st of each month (UTC), even if your plan renews on a different day. To check your current count, click your organization name in the upper left corner of your dashboard followed by Settings, then navigate to Billing & usage. Unlimited plans are subject to our Fair use policy. What counts toward your limit
  • Completed submissions from all forms in your organization, including ones you submit yourself through the live form link to test it.
  • A submission counts toward the month it was completed in. For example, a response started on the 31st and finished on the 1st counts toward the new month.
  • Months follow UTC, while the This month filter in your Results view follows your browser’s timezone. The two can differ slightly around the 1st.
  • Test responses submitted in preview mode don’t count.
  • Partial submissions don’t count.
  • Deleted submissions no longer appear in your form’s analytics or in your monthly count.
If you go over your limit
  • Your forms keep collecting responses, and nothing changes in your Results view.
  • If you regularly go over your plan’s limit, we’ll ask you to upgrade to a plan that matches your usage.
  • If you keep going over your limit without upgrading, we may need to temporarily limit or suspend your access to some features of Fillout.
  • To get a higher limit, upgrade your plan. Otherwise, your count resets on the 1st of the next month.

View individual submissions

Hover over a cell and click the expand icon to view the answers and submission details. Here, you can comment and tag your teammates. Screenshot 2026 01 07 At 5 17 35 PM Click the up arrow or down arrow to quickly go to view other individual responses as a whole.

Check misconfiguration errors

Fillout alerts you of any misconfiguration errors. For example, you recently changed a field type in your Airtable/Notion database, but forgot to change it in Fillout. Screenshot 2026 01 07 At 5 33 43 PM Click the warning icon to view the error in the right-hand panel. You can also enable error notifications to get notified via email.

Partial submissions

Auto-save progress so respondents can resume later.
